BUT FIRST, I’m dying here guys. I’ve been waiting for my goddamn pins for like..a week. and they haven’t come. Fuck, I wanna put them on my bag and strut around like i’m all that but I GUESS IT’S NOT HAPPENING THIS WEEK.

ANYHOO, let’s talk of schoolyness. Today was my first REAL day of work (day one and two were half days! nice!) so I got to meet all my teachers and all that junk. Pretty cool. Got some homework for math, and it’s pretty easy. then again, i’m taking applied. I’m surrounded by grade 12s who’re too dumb for uni prep.
Uhhmmmmm nothing else of interest, really. I’ve got more options for art this year now that i’m past all the grade 11 and 12 stuff. mmmm, special series goodliness!
Also i’m hoping to join moar clubs this year. I didn’t get a chance last year but now imma GO FOR THE GUSTO. They have an art club this year..dunno how that might go…
They also have a model club! I dunno if this is for aspiring models, and the club consists of them all throwing up thier breakfast together, but…god, I hope not.
Also i’ll probably join the Gay/Straight Alliance, too. Might drag a couple of friends with me so I don’t feel like a loner. I dunno!
The only thing i’m worried about is a possible Anime Club. There’s no OFFICIAL club, but last year it was organized by a really cool teacher who was ALSO into western comics, which was pretty neat since she brought some in on the last day, and basically it was us sitting around watching Miyazaki movies, and occasionally someone would bring in another movie. We also saw Tekkon Kinkreet and The Girl who Leapt Through Time which were both awesome. What was also nice about it was the lack of japanophiles and weeaboos! There was probably one real loud noisy girl there who annoyed the crap out of me (she still hangs around us. I don’t have the heart to tell her to fuck off) but that was it. But to counter her was a really awesome girl who was a fellow anime elitist, and we sat around talking about Baccano and Moetan and Gurren Lagann and all that good stuff.
BUT what i’m getting at is that with the flow of new niners, i’m pretty sure there’ll be some horrible weeaboos mixed in there. You know. The usual narutarded headband-wearing pimple-faced otakus? Yea, THAT’S what i’m afraid of. THAT’S what I think will ruin a possible idea of an anime club. Awesome Teacher’s not even at the school anymore. How’ll we make that work? I assure you, I will have no part in it.
So anyways, I should be doing my homeworks. Gotta stay on top, Eru! Gotta stay on top!
